...0-1.5 months to go. Right now, doesn't seem like it will ever happen. My vacation time is over and everything else seems so far in the distance. I need a distraction! I usually have something to look forward to and get excited about. It just doesn't seem like it's going to happen. It doesn't even seem like I will get the call in the next 6 weeks, which is possible. Even just 6 weeks seems forever. How can I continue to have patience?

The waiting is tough, it is almost like God is giving you a sample of what a pregnant woman goes through as she waits and waits, wondering what day the water will break. Or the woman waiting for the 12 weeks to pass of the pregnancy to get past the scary time, then the 20 week mark to see the baby in the ultrasound to make sure the baby is perfect. Could your waiting time be 9 months long? 40 weeks on anticipation and getting the room ready, toys, and the dreams of family vacations, walking hand in hand down the street discovering every single ant on the sidewalk with such excitement! When you do hold that baby of yours, you will never imagine you could love so much. You won't know what free time is, and traveling any distance for a weekend is like packing your car for a week when you were single. Being a mom is all about patience, God is already teaching you to be a mom! Karen
You are so right! Most days I realize I am being taught patience and it is good for me. Some days, though, I'm like, come on already!!!
Re diaper problem: Why not go half and half. Disposibles for travel and day care and cloth for the other times.

That's probably what will happen, part cloth, part disposables;).
