I have been saying, since Buck died, that I would wait until baby came home and adjusted before we would get another dog. But, I am lonely for a dog. I miss going on a walk with a dog. (like Carolyn would say, "I feel like a loser walking without a dog"!) So, I started looking at dogs this weekend. The criteria is a little tighter than previously. I would like a "hypo-allergenic" dog so Aiden can again visit my house. I need a dog that is not a stray and is definitely cool with younger kids. I don't want a puppy. They need to be housebroken and a pleasant personality. I found a Wheaten terrier this weekend, but she was already taken by another family. Anyone have suggestions?

Hey, great idea to get a dog! I would be lost with out Tanner, my Golden. You are so good at research and finding the right personality for you with everything and one, that I would not even know what to suggest for you. Good luck on your search and share with us your new child when you get him/her! If you need someone to take him/her while you are away let me know, we can make the travel and bring them to the country for a bit. Tanner loves friends. Karen
