Sorry I haven't posted during the trip. The computer at the guest house was down the entire week. And, to tell you the truth, my complete focus was on Birhane. It was a GREAT trip. In short, the CHS Ethiopia staff is wonderful and they truly love all of the children in care. And, I'm not just talking about the nannies and social workers. I'm talking about the cooks, cleaners, drivers, and guards.
Anyway, here's Birhane:). She's great. A very easy baby. She has a runny nose, loose cough, and has developed diarrhea. With all of that and the huge adjustment she is going through she is great! Smiley, laughing (like her mama), eats like a pig. People on our flights even commented that she should give traveling lessons to the other babies.
She loves other kids and completely lights up the room when she sees them. So, we will be wanting other kiddos to come over soon:).

Welcome Home! Your daughter is so beautiful. Can't wait to see her in person.
So happy for you! Can't wait to meet her. Once the array of illnesses clear, I'd love to bring Sarah over and let them play :). Call when you are ready for company!
