I'm just a little angry at the moment.
Neighbors!
I've been patient and forgiving. I'm done with that.
They have two large dogs they tie out and leave unattended in the back yard. Birhane and I play out there and the dogs can just barely come through the fence. They have torn a board off. What if B was standing next to the fence and their heads came through? What if they got off leash? (I hear the girls screaming for their dogs and running around outside sometimes at midnight-1am.)
I made a complaint to the city, as I know other neighbors have already. (They have already not mowed their lawn for weeks, had an abandoned car parked for months, and garbage blowing around the yard for a couple of weeks.) Those things have been taken care of, but the dogs continue... Does it have to take me calling the police or Birhane getting hurt?
Ok, just vented because I'm so angry. I don't have time for anger these days. Don't want to be that way around the little one.
Hopefully, I didn't scare the grandparents too much!

Love the pictures of B and watching her grow up. Isnt it amazing how the dogs may not of bugged you a year ago, and now...it is a huge issue with safety in mind for the baby. You are a great mom, wish I could share more with you by living closer. Thanks for sharing all the pictures. K
You can try Dogs Deserve Better.org. They will send a representative, or at least send information through the mail (and anonymously so you don't have to "get involved") regarding chaining dogs and offering to help either re-home, retrain, or build a better fence, etc. On their website go to your state and contact the local rep. Good luck.
Thanks for commenting on my blog! Now I have to catch up on yours! You have a beautiful daughter!
