Birhane and I are so excited for Liz as she has received the referral for a darling boy M!
However, we are also sad, as Liz has helped us out tremendously with my "late" work days. Birhane's current daycare is open until 6:30. I work down the street many Thursdays until 6:30 and once/month 7:30. Liz was so wonderful to help by picking up Birhane and caring for her until I could come home. But with little M on the way, we need to make other plans as she will have her hands full.
I'm looking for recommendations. Do you know a St. Kate's, St. Thomas, or Macalester student that would be interested in attempting to replace Liz? Or a grandmother or mom that would like a hint of cash for picking her up and playing with her for 2 hours? I would also consider an all day nanny on Thursdays, but those hours would range from 7:15-5 to 10:15-8.

Thanks DeeAnn! I have enjoyed every minute with Birhane, I have looked forward to our "play-dates"- even when she laughed at me for climbing in the playhouse! I even have a new, favorite dinner- waffles, fruit and yogurt! I am going to miss my time with B, but am very excited to welcome M into my life :)
