-learning to cut with scissors
-dressing and undressing and wanting to pick out what she wears
-obsessed with games and puzzles
-recognizing letters (has X, I, and O down and working on more)
-meaningful counting (she's been able to count to 15 for forever, but is REALLY counting things now)
-tried to get her to talk forever and now won't stop (especially in church)
-is starting to call me "mom" instead of "mama"
-shares her blankie with me (shocking, actually!)
-loves playing in the snow, but freaks out if her bare hands touch the snow
-always looking for the moon and stars. Her: "There's Birhane's moon.". Me: "Yep, that's your moon sweetie."
-accurately knew when she had to pee and did it, but then later pooped in the tub:(---maybe it was all too much stress for her not pooping in underwear? she has never pooped in the tub, even when she was a baby
-loves clicking her hair beads:)
-is always so proud when she accomplishes something. She puts her hands on her hips, chin in the air, and a grin on her face. Need to get a photo of that.
-a dancing fool, just ask grandma and "papa". She'll go nuts at Genna celebration this Saturday and I will shed some tears.
-Is a social butterfly. I've worked so hard to get her to greet people when we arrive/depart and when spoken to. This may be going to the opposite extreme. During meditation time at church yesterday, turned around and said, "HI!" to the man behind us. Plus, continuous talking during the service. BTW, check out: www.stpc.org . M and T from work also go there. Great diversity and vibe.
more later, need to go to bed... plan to see my favorite dermatologist in the am for my annual check
