I'm so excited to announce my daughter, B. Her name means "my light". Born (around) May 22, 2008 in Ethiopia. Currently 7.5kg. Oh so beautiful and oh so perfect. Sorry, can't share photos until she is through court (in about 8 weeks). I will keep you posted...
I got the call at 1308 while at work. Wow, did I have a captive audience! I was shocked to get the call, even though I have been preparing for this my whole life. (sorry, work friends, I was then rendered useless for the remainder of the day). I actually did leave work after about 2 hours of telling everyone about her and calling everyone I know. Hope nobody got stuck staying late or getting called in because of my little distraction.
Needless to say, I'm so very excited. I haven't eaten since this am and have been shaking and walking around in a haze. I can't wait to show her off! I'm already so proud. I look in her eyes and imagine what she is thinking.
