All is well!

After hearing from CHS today I am happy to announce all is well with my adoption of B!

WOOOOOHHHHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a huge sigh of relief. What a week B and I have had! Now, I feel able to just relax and concentrate on B! What fun. I'm now working on a care package to send to B. I can put anything into a gallon size ziplock. I will blow up some pictures of me (yeah, scary!) to put on her crib. I will also send a soft, baby photo album so the nannies can show her pictures of her family and home. I have been also sleeping with a couple of items that I will send, so she will know my (and Lucy's) smell. I also plan to put a few drops of Lavender on one item and then wear some when I meet her. Hopefully that will be one more clue for her that I am MAMA!

I received a darling swimsuit and Patagonia fleece booties from Garnet Hill in the mail today. (They had a great online sale during the holiday).

Other scores in the shopping department were a Britax carseat for $132 (yeah, they are expensive, but the safest). ...and that's a little more than 1/2 price!
Thank you for all of the prayers and well wishes. You all held me up during these stressful weeks.
Oh, and for those of you wondering, it is now 12-16 weeks until Brad and I travel to Addis Ababa to bring B home! That means March. I will keep you updated on the steps as they happen.
Love,
DeeAnn
