Did I tell you today how grateful I am?
Grateful to be alive. Grateful that Ethiopia is giving me the opportunity to be a mom. Grateful for all of my wonderful friends and family. Grateful for Lucy. Grateful for a brain. Grateful for basic rights as a human being.
Most of all, grateful to the gods that Baby B is alive and well in Addis Ababa.
I think I am falling in love (and didn't even really expect it, yet).
