Etc...

No new news.

Holidays were nice. A couple sad moments for me. I would catch myself thinking about B and feeling sad about us not being together. I would stop myself and regroup. I did allow myself a good cry during Silent Night at church. I know she is well loved at the care center and in the end a few months won't matter. Next Christmas will be ours.

I very much appreciated those that remembered B with gifts during the holidays. Of course, I think of her as my daughter already. It was nice to know other people acknowledge this.

Kim has her travel dates for mid-January! That is getting so close! So excited for her and G. This means her mom and sister can both travel with her.

Had dinner with 12 other ET adoptive parents and their children at Dukem Saturday night. A family from southern CA are thinking of moving here. I think it would be difficult to make that choice this time of year:). I get to babysit their son Marley on New Year's Eve. Wish me luck, I think he's going to spend the night!

Angela and K are home since December 20. They even traveled to WI for Christmas. Brave mama!

Mom, Sara, and Kristie will come and have a women's day with me on Saturday. We will register for things for B and have lunch. Some may know that I am so OVERLY prepared and really don't need anything, but it will still be fun. And, yes, I am very grateful for all of the hand-me-downs I have been collecting. I am planning to cloth diaper, so do need a few supplies for that. I think I need a highchair, a pack'n'play, and a small stroller for travel and to leave in the car. Otherwise, I think we have more than we need. More toys than we can play with. Of course, I never think I have enough books:).

Lucy was groomed yesterday. They fluffed her up like a poodle. She's so cute. Don't think you can tell from a photo, so won't post. She keeps attaching to me a bit more all of the time (for those of you not familiar with adoption-speak, google attachment parenting:)). Ok, so I'm a bit crazy about the whole deal; talking about my dog attaching to me. You can laugh.

Work is busy this time of the year. Missed yoga tonight because of that. Doesn't make me feel too happy, but I'll need to learn to roll with the punches much more when B comes home and I go back to work.

I can't decide on a middle name for B. Andrea, Ben, and Kayla just called and they came up with Jo. It actually sounds the best with B's name. Other top contenders are Charlotte and Andelia. Any other suggestions???
