Registering

Wow, even though I was prepared for registering for B's "stuff", I was still exhausted after hitting all of the stores. Mom, Kristie, and Sara joined me, which was the best part! I don't think we have ever done that kind of thing together. Lunch at Khan's, which was a new experience for 2 of the group. We hit Peapods, a dangerously close and fun store. Check out their website: http://www.peapods.com/ . Then, of course, we went to the big box stores that are completely overwhelming for me, but I feel they are an evil necessity. Target and BabiesRUs. We sure did find some darling things like the nighty night doll pictured above, BabyLegs http://www.babylegs.net/ , Ribbies Clippies http://www.ribbiesclippies.com/ , and from what I'm told, the best stain remover around: http://www.totallytoddler.com/ . Way too many choices for bottles, nipples, sippy cups, and strollers. And, potty chairs! Also, fun toys like a toddler swing and trike and of course a few books and crayons. Oh what fun we will have! Grandpa and the uncles are going to have to come over to help put up the swing and put together the trike.

Most of all, I was hoping to register for "time". You know what I mean? Time to give. Time with B. Time to give mom a break. I'm sad Simon Delivers went under. I was hoping for some gifts from there! Also, I would almost prefer contributions to B's college fund.

Besides, do we really need all of this stuff? Babies need food, a place to sleep, clothes, and most of all love. The rest is just decoration. Ok, ok, so maybe a little fun will be had with all of the "stuff". :)
