I'm home sick with Birhane today. She has a sinus infection and probably pneumonia. Blech. Missed staff meeting and orientation today. But, G+G watched her last Thursday (10 days of sickness) and B+K are leave for the Black Hills tomorrow. Didn't even want to ask. Tried a babysitter. Yuck.
On the plus side, backed up photos and videos and cleaning up clutter for Sara to clean tomorrow. It's a beautiful day outside and I'm appreciating the breeze blowing in.
Birhane took a 2 hour morning nap after seeing Dr. Goodale and am thinking she will take another soon. We need to slow down a bit, I guess.
4th plans... Friday pool party, Monday CHSFS parade. Need to find some fireworks on Sunday. Will try to take some pics.
Last weekend went to Des Moines for A+M's wedding. Lovely outside wedding and pool time with friends the rest of the weekend, plus D's birthday party on the way home. Too much for 2 days? Maybe. That's when the sickness of the little one started.
Birhane received a bday package from the Aussie family. Pink purse, Dora necklace and bracelet, cute koala towel. She is in love with all of these things. Please disregard the crusty nose...
